Dr. Alice A. Christie's University Classes: EDT 530

Professional Reflective Digital Portfolio

This professional reflective digital portfolio (e-portfolio) will be the beginning of an ongoing portfolio that you will build to chronicle your M.Ed. experience at Arizona State University West. During this first phase of this process, you will collect and select artifacts (class assignments), connect them using PowerPoint™, and reflect on your growth.

You will use this semester's portfolio to present a culmination of your work in EDT 530. Since you will adding to this electronic portfolio in future classes, it is important to have a portfolio structure that is expandable. All files should be in a folder labeled EDT 530. Each successive class will have a similar folder with all portfolio files from that class in that folder. In each of the course assignments you will create digital products that will become potential artifacts (digital pictures, Word™ documents, PowerPoint™ documents, etc.) for inclusion in your professional reflective e-portfolio.

You should select one or more of your assignments with each application/tool to include in your e-portfolio that reflect your growth during the semester with a variety of technology tools. Write a brief reflection (or reflective notes) to accompany each artifact (assignment) in the portfolio.

These artifacts and reflections may be Web-based or stored in a local folder but connected through the linking properties of PowerPoint™. In short, you will collect, select, reflect on, and connect artifacts that represent your work in EDT 530 to document your personal and professional growth during this class.
